2020 Road to Equity Tour : Black Millennial Political Convention
The 2020 Road to Equity Tour stopped off in Memphis,TN , home of the Blues, to grace local millennial community leaders, activists, HBCU students as well as running officials with some knowledge and development opportunities on the Le Moyne Owen College Campus. This event will include plenaries centered on needs and wants of the Black community in Memphis. It will also feature local, statewide and national leading Millennial voices such as Tami Sawyer, Shelby County Commissioner; LaTricea Adams, President, Black Millennials for Flint; Raumesh Akbari, Senator, District 9; London Lamar, Tennessee House of Representatives, 91st District; Dr. Wes Bellamy, former Vice Mayor and current Councilman of Charlottesville, Virginia and many others.
